What is AIESEC?

AIESEC is with over 50000 members, each of a responsible, economical thinking kind and with a strong interest in cultural sensibility and a proactive learning ambition, in over 110 Countries the biggest student run Organisation worldwide.

AIESEC was founded in 1948 as reaction on the World War II with the strong aim to develop a responsible and global thinking new generation of future leaders. Therefor AIESEC is giving its members the possibility to challenge themself and grow in a praxis related surrounding. Students have the possibility to grow and collect experience through all fields of daily work. A strong background of values like tolerance, enjoyment of the work or sustainable acting is strongly interacting with this working experience. All of this takes place in international surroundings and teaches the AIESECers from the beginning to cooperate and work with people from all different fields of study, origin and gender and leads them to a rich variety of business skills and tools. Through its global student exchange and internship program it offers its members a unique experience abroad.AIESEC is a place where students can try out themselves, where they can unleash where potential.

AIESEC in Austria is offering its members during a year a wide range of Conferences, Trainings and Coaching, from the development of their leadership skills, over society relevant topics to cultural understanding und sustainability.

The local committee of Salzburg was founded in 2008, as a young member of the AIESEC family it offers its members unique possibilities to develop themselves.

During this year, AIESEC Salzburg will again organise Career Days, the platform to for students to get in touch with the local economy. Also our multi-cultural students party, Global Village will take place, already the third time this year. With our schools project AIESEC Salzburg will get in touch with the local youth and we will organise the 1.National Congress in January.

To realise this projects, but also to ensure our future ambitions in Salzburg also this year we are searching again for people who want to have this extraordinary experience for themselves.
